Compact Powder

What is compact powder?
Also known as pressed powder, it is one of the most commonly used makeup products. It is a lightweight powder that usually comes in a powder form. It is used to give your face a light coverage or to give your makeup the perfect finish.
What is the use of this product?
Primarily, it is used to set liquid foundation/concealer so that the makeup lasts longer and does not move around, or rub off of your skin and gives you matte finish.
What is the difference between loose powder and compact powder?
The main difference between loose and pressed powder is the way the product is packaged. Pressed powders are pressed into a compact, loose powders are often packaged in jars or tubs. The other difference is that it is easy to carry in handbag for everyday use, and ideal for touchups. Whereas, the loose powder is mostly used for heavy base or baking under eyes for professionals.
How many shades are available?
There are four shades available: Fawn, Ivory, Porcelain and Nude.
How can I choose my shade?
Always choose a shade that matches your skin color. If you end up picking up a compact that is a few shades lighter than your skin tone, your skin may turn grey in some time.
What should I apply before compact powder?
For better results, always prep your skin with Sapphire’s Primer and foundation then apply the powder.
